Summary

Born in the city of Norwich in a small town called Old Catton, my passion for music started at the age of around 7 When i used to go along to karaoke’s that my mum and dad would compare!! I moved to Brackley in Northamptonshire at the age of 8 and shortly after this I enrolled into a part time stage / theatre school in Banbury, Oxfordshire. Stage school definitely helped me to achieve a great deal and gave me the confidence and self motivation that I have today.

I am a singer/songwriter and have taken part in several talent shows over the years and always gained 1st or 2nd place either singing my own songs or covers. My inspiration comes from the likes of Alicia Keys and Whitney Houston right through to Aretha Franklin and Ella Fitzgerald.

Achievements

  • At the age of 11 I was chosen by MEJ Music Productions out of 300 other singera to work on a 3 year music project. This included working in several main recording studios, writing my own lyrics and completing several tracks. Although MEJ wanted me to sign another 3 year contract I decided to venture alone and find someone else who would allow me to write more of my own material.
  • At 14 I met Scot Whitman who wrote the song “Another Lover” with Dane Bowers. Scot gave me regular recording time and this enabled me to experiment with certain genres and really work on my unique style.
  • At the age of 15 I was presented with an “achievement award” from Theatre Express Stage School. I was told that I was one of two awards presented since the school opened their doors 10 years previously.
  • In 2005 I took part in a National showcase held at the Picturedrome singing 3 of my own songs to an audience of 800 people.
  • Featured in both “Tiger Bay” and “Q’Ville” hip hop albums.
  • An A’Level drama student.
  • I have also worked on a production deal where I produced and wrote a 6 track album entitled ‘Show U’.
  • I have appeared on Channel U with my track called ‘Faded away’
  • I have recently got back from LA where I won the chance to record with Grammy award winning producers and make a promo DVD and song.
