About JDP:


The Hip Hop world of late has been in a state of chaos. Voices surround the
topic of life or death for the genre, and the idea of the art form is
changing. Enter, JDP. The artist is a breath of fresh air to the game. Born
on the southside of chicago, the songwriter spent the latter half of his
years outside the city. His mother, a former artist herself, instilled the
love within her son. JDP arrived on the scene bringing a fresh new sound to
the table. In 2006 JDP co-founded Flyy City with partner/manager J-Twist.
Since then the mc has been making noise all over the country. Future plans:
Tearing down the doors of the music industry.

Music:

Combining his love of writing with his love for music the gifted MC creates
great joints. Combining lyricism with infectious hooks, and a incredible
flow the songwriter is poised to take over the game. Able to craft hits like
"Like a skateboard" and still rip into tracks lyrically "Mean wit it", "In
the huddle." JDP can tackle any track you put him on. Not to be boxed in,
JDP is also puts his producer hat on to craft many of his own "Cuz Im Fly"
He's also worked with some of chicago's biggest names, and has plans to
increase the buzz tenfold.

With Chicago latching onto his sound JDP has been making the rounds in his
hometown performing all over the city. His grind eventually got noticed and
JDP was soon invited to open up for big name acts like Shawnaa and Rich Boy
as well as Cap-1 and GLC. Just recenlty JDP performed at "Making the Next
hit" which is Lil Wayne's upcoming online reality show. JDP's single "Like a
skateboard" is already recieving airplay all over the country and that is
